Grazia x Women’s Prize First Chapter Competition

In 2020, Abigail won the tenth annual Grazia X Women’s Prize For Fiction First Chapter Competition.

The judges, Grazia features editor Rossmund Dean, Grazia special projects editor Rhiannon Evans and Ordinary People author Diana Evans, praised Abigail’s “ambitious set-up” and “evocative use of language”. Diana Evans said Abigail’s writing was “full of grace and flare”.
